When I worked at Starbucks I was hired “full time” but worked 32-37 hours average. Rarely did I hit 40. If you need a consistent 40, it is very unlikely you’ll find that at Starbucks.

Right now everyone in my store is hurting for hours. We are busier than ever and no one works over 5 hour shifts. Nobody except the store manger is working over 30 and it is killing us

There is no guarantee that you'll get any number of hours every week. only "good faith" estimates. I was hired to work full time, but some weeks I've been given 18 hours and others I've been scheduled with over time at 44 hours. You need to make your expectations clear when you interview.
