Moving from licensed to corporate (self.starbucksbaristas)

I officially got a job at a corporate store today and I am super excited! I have been working at a licensed store for a while... but I am not getting a pay increase, and a whole bunch of benefits. Any advice you guys have would be greatly appriciated!

yay! i was at a proudly brewing store in a bookstore for seven years before moving to
corporate store in 2015! it’s so much better at a CO store but be patient in learning sequencing and routine if your store didn’t have that already. it’s the key to your success. for me, i didn’t have the routine and sequencing down when i first got to a CO store, so learning the little things will definitely help! good luck! enjoy the spotify bennys!! lol

Thanks! Super excited, my store is a brand new one, not even open yet, so I’m super happy. I have the sequencing and routines down I believe so I’m guessing once I learn the new register and drive through I will be golden! Thanks for the insight

yaaas you better slay that new store!!! everyone’s experience is so different at a CO store but moving to corporate owned was the best decision i ever made. hehe good luck!!!

Good for you! I would just say to be open to coaching. I’ve worked with other partners who came from license stores, and they all had some non-standard habits, which is totally understandable. And if you do get coached on how to do things to standard, don’t take it personally! It’s just the way we’re asked to do things.
