So they don’t send out dental/vision ID cards anymore-
Usually the places can just look you up in the system now.
Go to the benefits page on the hub and sign in, and click on your vision benefits.
Make an account and sign in with whoever you’re insured by, and there will be an option to view/print your ID card.
I’m not sure if it’ll pop up until you’re covered, but that’s how you do it!

I manage insurance for optometrists and can confirm the other statements. I would advise finding out who your coverage is through and confirming your Dr is in their network (usually searchable on their website). Most vision insurers don’t send ID cards anymore but have online systems where we can verify your benefits. If you call before your coverage is effective, advise the appointment maker it starts the 1st - sometimes we can’t review your benefits until the effective date.

I have VSP and was never sent a card (have had insurance for three years, received dental and medical insurance cards) but my optometrist’s office has always been able to find my insurance by looking it up in their system.
