One of our bars wouldn’t steam and literally nobody thought to tell me, i just thought that person had a lot of iced/cold bar drinks. well, i was put on bar 2 for someone’s lunch and suddenly i had at LEAST 8 pitchers of milk shoved at me, only to be told “oh yeah this bar won’t steam properly so we can’t use it! haha oopsies” we were short staff, during peak, every single drink i was getting was hot and it was literally just so bad trying to make drinks for cafe, mobile and drive thru by myself. also considering at some point my bar partner disappeared and left me with all the cold bar drinks too. (i was doing hot bar, and her cold bar since we were getting 36378273 fraps for god knows why) but yeah. we also called it in but the repair guy never showed up

there’s also one barista i work with who literally torments me and all of my shifts, ASM and SM pass it off as “well that’s just how she is”...so she’s just extremely rude and outright mean because that’s who she is? she was also being extremely rude to customers but if you say anything about it she gets pissed. we don’t like each other.

we have a partner who recently transferred from a tarbux and she’s a loud person and overshares her personal live with the customers way too much. she’s sweet as can be though and gets super good connection ratings! she was on DTO today and the screen froze and she told the customer “oh i’m so sorry, my screen just froze so i’ll have to wait just a
second to take your order!” and the girl from the paragraph above and someone else were by the ovens making fun of her for informing a customer that we couldn’t take their order??? like the customer needs to know why we can’t, not “hold on” i’m a bland voice
