The job is 60% customer service, 20% cleaning, and 20% making drinks. I very much enjoy the job and I’ve worked at 4 different stores and have been a partner for 2 years. It really is just a fast food job with a lot of frills and a ton of marketing and higher standards. It is excellent experience for almost any other job.
Perks are amazing: free Spotify premium, free headspace, 20 free Lyra sessions, great savings programs, shares in Starbucks stock, ASU tuition, free pound of coffee every week, free 1 drink and 1 food everyday regardless of working or not (during covid), practically endless drinks for yourself during shifts you work.
In my region, pay is about $2 over minimum and we get cash tips (added up weekly and divided by worked hours). If you don’t mind customer service, it’s an excellent job and I’ve had a great experience so far!!

I'm not in Minnesota but I can tell you you're not getting $15/hr. I think they give a little more over minimum wage, but one of those baristas can chime in.
The interview was pretty standard. Be friendly and likable and professional. Don't worry about not having experience, everyone starts somewhere and Starbucks is a fine first job. Good luck!
