Did your store do sign up sheets for holidays? My manager prioritized scheduling partners who specifically signed up for Thanksgiving/News Years over other partners who may have been available but didn’t sign up.

This. Our SM always did it on a volunteer basis for Thanksgiving and New Years. He figured letting people volunteer )especially for New Years) would mean less call outs.

yup, and i signed up for paid time off holidays, but apparently no one thought missing a technical holiday for not any more money wasn’t worth it either...

I request off for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve because it’s always busier than Christmas and New Years, but without the extra pay. It also increases my chances of being scheduled on the Christmas and New Year’s Day
