how the hell do i process a refill transaction?? (self.starbucksbaristas)

everytime i need to do it my fellow baristas end up doing it for me and it just confuses me as to how it works?? a lady came in and wanted one refill and then one regular coffee and i had no clue how to ring both of those up using her gold card??

At the end of the row of the coffee options, there’s a button that says something like “Hot Brew Refill”. So in the case you put forward, you would ring her up for one Pike, or whatever blend she wanted, and one “Hot Brew Refill”. The refill will show up on the screen as 50¢, but when she scans her card, it’ll deduct the price from her total.

It also works for iced tea, iced coffee, hot tea, and cold brew.

so do i also ring up the cofee on the pos or only click on refill button?

If they are getting two drinks, a refill and a brand new cup of coffee, you’d ring up both drinks. If the customer is just getting a refill, you just ring them up for the refill.
