I actually like clopens. I know everything is done correctly and I'm set up well so I'm not scrambling around trying to undo whatever bs that the last shift dealt with. I even grind the first couple batches of coffee for the morning the night before to save time.

Hate having to go home then come back 6-8 hours later. Not much time to sleep and decompress from work.
Some ‘clopens’ in the past at my job 30 minutes away I just sleep in my car out front which is a bit uncomfortable but I am lucky to have a car.

I also love clopens! As a shift, I can count my milks ahead of time, I dont have to recount every till, I know everything is set up perfectly for me, I know what I'm walking into and who I'm dealing with. It makes my shift so much easier if I clopen

It does seem like shifts like clopenings the best, and I can definitely see why. Shifts deal with so much, it’s nice to be reassure a better, if not decent open for the next day

Thats why I love them too! I'm a shift and sometimes I just want to run the store alone lol. Seems less stressful knowing everything is done myself
