after months of dealing with my awful SM i finally was able to transfer to a new store. i start monday and i’m so excited. i really loved my home store, all my partners were great. it’s where i was hired, and where i became a ssv. i learned so much about coffee and grew as a person.
after my store got a new manager we had a huge turnover and things just went downhill. i tried voicing my concerns and how he needed to support us but nothing got through.
friday was my last day and i spent the week training my replacement. i was starting to regret leaving because of how good the beginning of the week went. then i closed new year’s eve and day, i remembered just how poorly he manages anything and made my job so much harder than it needed to be, on 2 very busy days.
the SM at my new store was a partner who worked her way up and is very respected in my district. i’ve heard nothing but great things about her store and i even have a friend working there!
i’m nervous, especially because i’m from a cafe only going to a drive through but it’s a good nervous!
