fraps (self.starbucksbaristas)

hey baristas of reddit! i was on bar support today and my partner was telling me that for the syrups (like the caramel syrup with the little pumps on cold bar etc) for fraps it would be 3 4 6, but i thought it’s 2 3 4 with the pumps on cold bar and 1 2 2 for pumps on hot bar since that’s what the directions also say on the little starbucks instructions on cold bar. would it be 2 3 4, and 1 2 2 with the pumps on hot bar, or is it 2 3 4 for coffee base, and 3 4 6 for the syrups on cold bar?

you are correct. cold bar syrups for fraps are 2/3/4, and the base is also 2/3/4. hot bar pumps are 1/2/2

3/4/6 is for iced beverages. so a tall iced vanilla latte would get 3 hot bar pumps, or a venti iced green tea would get 6 cold bar pumps of lcs.

Haha I got so confused reading this towards the end but great question! For fraps the pumps (for everything including frap roast, base, and flavors) are: 2,3,4. If you’re using the long pumps then it would be just half of this. So 1, 1.5, 2, but these are not the correct pumps to use for fraps. So yea you’re right! 2,3,4 for fraps using the correct cold bar pumps (:
