Oven Cleaner & Toxic Fumes? (self.starbucksbaristas)

So, the instructions on the oven cleaner say to spray it while the oven is still warm. One day I sprayed it while the oven was still very warm, maybe closer to hot, and I was reprimanded and told that that causes toxic fumes. But I couldn’t actually find anything on the bottle or on the Hub to support the claim. Anyone know?

Whenever I'm using a cleaner or opening an artificial sweetener, it makes me happy to be wearing a mask.

I've looked at the MSDS for it, apparently it's pretty safe, I still wouldn't inhale the vapors from it, and would wait until the oven is cooler next time, especially because it just evaporates and leaves a dry stain that's even harder to get off.

Agree with this, but I definitely don’t think the vapors are going to hurt anyone unless you’re in a closed room and breathing it in on purpose.
