apparently our dm told us to stop asking people if they still wanted whip on their drinks saying that “they’ll ask for no whip if they don’t want it”... I still do anyways because I know so many people either forget to ask or just don’t know that whip comes on certain drinks (especially many seasonal drinks)

There are other reasons why people wouldnt want dairy too, like veganism, so maybe instead of asking I'd they're lactose intolerant you can just quickly inform them about the dairy in the sauces.
