I hate those starbucks nightmares. Sometimes I still dream of being overwhelmed during peak and wake up thinking I'm still at work. It sucks.

When I had first started with Starbucks, I would hear the beeping sounds of the warming ovens in my dreams and it was not fun.

whenever i wake up after an opening nap i literally always think it’s 6 am and i overslept for work and wake in a PANIC

I never had the nightmares/stressful dreams BUT I did start to hear fantom sticker machine sounds randomly through my day after about a year of working there lol

my worst is when i’m napping/tired and not at work,i’ll start hearing the DT order point sound from the headset or just start saying random drinks for some reason

I open around 4 am and take a nap around 3 pm. To which I wake up and feel like I’m in another realm because I nap better than I sleep

I’m so glad I’m not the only one! When I worked peak, I would always wake up making drinks in my sleep.

I would literally have dreams where I was just on bar during a rush. That’s the whole dream, just making drink after drink, nothing else eventful.

A couple nights ago my wife said I woke up in the middle of the night and asked her if she wanted a carrier for her drinks

i closed a couple weeks ago and i woke up in a cold sweat at like 2 am bc i forgot to turn the oven off... good times

I’m a supervisor, so I opened, 4:30-2 today. Busy af with one call out. Took my “meal” (which i worked thru bc busy af) thinking I better place the daily order, but got too busy and didn’t remember I didn’t place it until right now.

Starbucks nightmares are a real thing.

when i’m not there i still hear the sound the sticker printing machine makes when a sticker comes out.... absolute agony

Once I had an anxiety dream about being on bar, but the bar started showing an error message that just said ‘ !!!! POISON’. I kinda just looked around the cafe at everyone drinking their poison coffee, shrugged it off and then woke up lmao

I had a stress dream about a shift meeting yesterday 🙃

If I EVER dream about work it's always an uncomfortable time

I once had a dream where I had to make the same frapp over and over again in a continuous loop because I kept getting it wrong.

One time after a happy hour i dreamt all night about being on DTO 😭

I haven’t worked at Starbucks in 4 months and I still have dreams about it

If anything sounds remotely like the drink sticker machine spitting out a sticker, I look around for it. I hear it randomly sometimes

i dont wake up refreshed ever anymore because i always wake up in a panic thinking i overslept, even on my days off

also my most standout stress dream is when i first started i had a nightmare i was on customer support (when i was still shit at it) and i kept forgetting to make caramel bottles and the shift just kept fucking yelling at me that we needed caramel drizzle

Glad to know Starbucks nightmares are a universal thing. I do all that work and don't even get paid BC it's a dream

ive only had super bizarre dreams when it comes to starbucks. most not particularly memorable, but like two months after i got hired, i had a dream i was on cold bar minding my own business. however, instead of a water tap, we had... ice bins.... full of water. and we used the regular vented ice scoops to fill the cups. and somehow it was a better time than 90% of me actually being on bar
