I roasted my own coffee and shared it with my partners. Anyone into roasting coffee? I would love to learn and grow more (reddit.com)

I’ve roasted a fair number of batches. Never with anything fancy, always with like a pot or air based popcorn popper. I’m far from being good at it, but I’ll say that everyone who tried it seemed to enjoy it quite a lot. Roasting times are going to be your main thing, try to figure out the right timing and as such, the right temperature scaling. Sweet Maria’s has a bunch of videos and such about roasting and also a great selection of beans.

Would recommend the r/coffee sub for this discussion as people in there are often quite knowledgeable.

I applaud you for roasting on your own because great coffee at home can get complicated enough even when someone else is doing the roasting for you.
