I personally just wipe my shoes on the mop. Just make sure health department do not see any rags on the floor.

My store uses "dirty" aprons to dry the floor. Red apron season was rough because they can't go to cintas.
I just realized this is probably a Canadian thing since Americans wash their own aprons and likely don't want to drag them on the floor after wearing them once haha

Idc if the floors get dirty after mopping them. They’re meant to be walked on lol as long as we sweep and mop every day I have no problem with footprints on the floors. 🤷🏻♀️

Depends on your boss. Some hate seeing dirty shoes prints and feel that you didn't do good job as result.

Mine old one did too but we cleaned everything so well, she had nothing to complain about. Sometimes she was bothered by it b would say something but the store was awarded the cleanest in the district. If every other spot on the floor is clean besides the walkway it’s fine to me lol
