What is your favorite position and why? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I love bar, hot bar to be exact but I’m a shift and usually in charge and it’s super hard to keep and eye on everything from the bar. But any day that I’m not the key holder I’d be there if I could just zoning out. 💜 ☕️

I absolutely adore hot bar and dto. I can’t stand being up front or dtr but that’s just me being antisocial

CS, *especially* if I’m key holder.

I know how to get shit done, and get it done efficiently.

Ya that’s my close second ... anything but dto really.

cs if im the key holder cause its easier to keep an eye on everything and its easier to stop what im doing on cs if someone needs help or there's an issue. if im not the key holder i love dto. no clue why but i do im kinda awkward in person but not so much on the headset.

Bar. I love making drinks. I used to work at a small coffee shop and I loved making drinks. Main reason why I decided to try starbucks. That being said, I like the occasional dto or cs position. It can be very relaxing not having to worry about people's drinks lol.

I can totally relate to this.

It really depends on the day, who is working, and how I’m feeling. The only position I don’t like is front because it’s boring and we only have it if we’re over staffed. We don’t get a lot of walk-ins. Some days I just want to vibe out on DTO. Others I’m cool to be on mobile bar and not wear a headset at all. Some days I just want to CS and do dishes in the back when everything up front is cool.

Drive-thru bar, food or CS. We’re always busy at my store and the amount of customers we get is extremely overwhelming. I’m also just not a “people person” and I have to stay busy, and those three positions will keep you busy the entire time you’re there

CS! It’s literally my favorite and the only one I don’t get burnt out on. My shifts constantly apologize for putting me on it and try to give me breaks but every time I tell them it’s my favorite. I can get so much done, I get to flex to other positions, I have a routine that I can focus on regardless of anything else happening in my head, and quite frankly I get a slight break from rude customers. I also am best at CS, and it’s known. I get positive feedback and tbh that feed back and feeling wanted, makes a huge difference.

I also love hot bar. I can sequence like it’s nothing. My only issue becomes speed and getting overwhelmed with random rushes.

I also weirdly enjoy taking orders outside with the hand held. I get to see puppies up close, the interaction feels way less fake, customers usually are nicer when I’m in person and not just someone behind a screen, and there’s minimal downtime between orders.

Register! Love making the moment and pushing up sells (in fun ways). When I am keyholder though it is CS, OS, or handoff depending on the play.

Hot bar, cold bar, CS. Hate cashier hate the sound of my voice.

I’m sure u sound lovely... I personally get to angry at the way customers order... way too many pet peeves on dto.

Bar in the mornings, CS in the afternoon when there's a lot to be restocked. Im really strong at bar under pressure and love doing CSy things lol

I love being on bar no matter which, because it’s consistent for me and always moving. Whereas on CS I sometimes find myself wandering looking for something to do and I get worried

Hands down DTO. My SM prefers all shifts to be DTO during rush or support. I loathe cold bar and CS.
