Submitted my resume. How long should I have to wait for a response? (self.starbucksbaristas)

i waited for about two months after applying and got absolutely no response
i was super desperate at that point so i called the store and spoke to the manager who immediately set up an interview, and essentially hired me on the spot!
there may be a hiring freeze rn (at least in my area) as a lot or stores are closing so they don’t need partners at the moment, but it doesn’t hurt to call!
some people even say walk in with your resume but my manager once mentioned she didn’t like when people did that so idk
good luck!

Dont wait for them to call you, call them a couple days after submitting an application and ask.

The Starbucks website will always show a job opening, even if there isn’t one. They’re perpetually accepting applications and they hold all applications in their system for up to six months.

There’s no way of knowing if the store you applied to actually has a labor need or if / when they’ll reach out to you.

Especially right now with our labor hours cut significantly after the holidays ://
