A opening barista just tested positive yesterday for COVID. The closing baristas now have to do split shifts for the morning and evening for coverage since they took out the entire morning block due to exposure (~5 people). She is coming back this Friday (a 3 day quarantine) no negative test required from anyone, and no shut down. To make things even more bizarre one of the morning people who is supposed to be in quarantine until Friday came in today for a drink and just to say hey????? I feel like this isn’t right and not safe at all so i guess I’m just confused as to if this is the actual procedure or is my manager just desperate to stay open and have her staff back.
Disclaimer: One of the baristas at a store in my district got COVID. That store shut down for 24 hrs and is now open limited hours.

Yeah, if you’re isolating you are supposed to isolate. Any of my isolating partners in the past have not been allowed to come in the store or dt while isolating unless they got a negative test. Somethings not right with all of this, sorry this is happening to you and your partners
