I would guess some people do at least! I have ordered some strange things because I wanted to add things on my own (for example, espresso shots with 3-4 pumps of syrup in it).

We have that but with ice cubes. One day a lady ordered her drink with 7 ice cubes, when I read it back to her I said “light ice” and man she was NOT happy. Coworkers sure got a giggle though.
