I just learned espresso bar today and my first customer was Trevor. A simple man. A grande americano.
That’s pretty much it. He was just so nice.
Context: I moved to a new state and my store makes me feel at home even when I was just a customer. I’ve had so much anxiety and with the pandemic and everything that was 2020, it’s actually so nice to be working.
I just wanted to share in case anybody’s been having a bad day. ☺️ You matter and your customers and partners appreciate you more than you know.

This is actually really nice. I’ve been having trouble navigating through the bad customers and dealing with feeling inadequate at my job. You’ve reminded to take in the good customers, the ones that chat with you and smile back, the ones that trust you with their drinks. They are the ones that you started this job for. Thank you😌

Awe I feel that. I’ve been in food/service since I was 16 (I’m 24 now) and so I totally relate to what you said. It’s definitely tough to have that perspective, but just like anything - you’re getting better each time! You are literally the best you are now than any moment. Wishing you more happy and kind customers in your upcoming shifts!! ☕️💕

When Covid is over, and we can safely have customers sitting in the lobbies, that’s when the real fun starts. At least for me. I have always been my store’s Sampler. I was always the one that loved to give away lemon loaf, or chocolate croissants or any other snack I could think of.
Giving away mistakes is also cool, you get to talk loud to the room and ask if anyone wants a grande latte because the person in drive swears they said they wanted it iced.. lol.

Awe that’s my favorite part as a customer so I can’t wait until I’m on the other side. 😭 I gave away a bunch of my practice drinks to anyone that was waiting and that was nice. Omg but we gotta assume the customer said it anyways 😂🙄
