Our licensed store in a university is getting retrained We are usually busy as heck. The person training said her store can make 240 drinks per hour with 2 on the bar. We have always done maybe 100 an hour with 2 on the bar. All the higher ups think we can make it happen. But they don’t understand what I am saying. 2 people on the bar can only go so fast. We need 3 on the bar to even come close. We also have 4 new people starting with us next week. So I don’t think the speed will be with us. We do about 8 thousand dollars a day. So does anyone follow what I am saying. 2 on bar aren’t gonna be able to do that amount.

I feel like the store I started at (high volume drive-thru in a large city) could probably put out that on a busy day. But I guarantee she didn't tell you that they had an 8 person play and a CS that could drop what they were doing to help on cold bar.

Or, they sell a ton of drip and iced coffees vs espresso drinks.

Like you can only go so fast as the machines go, honestly. And unless you have two on hot bar and one on cold, it’s still gonna take time to make the drinks.

For some reason the higher ups seem to think if we do better at sequencing that we will become 4 times faster. It ain’t happening. 2 people on bar can only go so fast.
