Has anyone ever submitted a complaint to Ethics and Compliance before? What happened? Did they investigate? How do they do that?
Having some real problems with my SM being inappropriate and I want to report but I don’t know how it all actually works.

I’ve never gone through them myself but I have seen other partners.
A lot of it depends on what the complaint is and what proof you have. The more proof you have the more seriously the complaint will be taken. Otherwise it’s typically your word versus theirs and there’s only so much corporate can or will do. Regardless, I always think it’s worth filing because it starts your paper trail if you don’t have one and should ultimately help protect you in case of any future retaliation.
You can either just call them or there is a $1 you can fill out if you don’t want to call.

Okay thank you so much. My SM is continually being inappropriate with the young female partners- yesterday he had a whole conversation with an underage partner about her nipple piercings which was my last straw. It is he said she said but I know at least five other partners who will back me up. I have no proof otherwise. I really hope they will take it seriously.

Proof can be just documentation like, “on this day at this time, x said y to z.” It just helps you rather than being like “He’s been continually inappropriate with partners, like this one time when x happened.”

yes and yes! someone i know went through our DM. i believe their number is in the daily records book, but i know it's also accessible through the partner hub.
ethics and compliance got back to them within a few days and kept in email contact in between calls. they also got in contact with any other partners involved in our specific issue VERY quickly. i no longer work with anyone who was involved (unrelated reasons) so i'm not sure how it panned out, but when i was in contact with them, it was going really well.

Ethics and compliance is more for violations of law, health code or ethical conflicts.
If this is more of a problem of operations, starbucks policy, or smaller complaints then contacting your DM or partner resources would probably be more appropriate.

My SM and my DM are best buddies so I don’t feel super comfortable going to my DM. But the sexual harassment under the guise of being everyone’s best friend has to stop. So I went to ethics and compliance.
I appreciate your comment, though. In normal circumstances I would probably not have gone so high.

If you don't trust your DM to handle it then the RD or ethics is the right place to go. If you complain through partner resources they would kick it back to the DM to handle.
