for me, it’s the fact my SM approved an idea one of our baristas has. we have a lot of lgbtq+ partners and one of our older girls is going to make name tags with the person’s name and preferred pronouns which is so cool (which this is optional, i know not everyone is going to be comfortable with having their pronouns on their name tags). we also get to choose our color and design!! idk i think it’s such a sweet gesture

We feed a cat! There’s a cat in our complex, and she kept hanging around. She warmed up to us, and even would bring her kittens near our store. Our openers started setting out food and water for her! Not sure if they do it anymore but still I thought it was pretty cool

Our store has a book club where we all trade and share books! My manager let me borrow hers which is “the house by the cerulean sea” and let me tell you it was the cutest book ever. I think it makes it fun and gives us something relaxing to talk about that’s not work related and we can all have fun and contribute to.

my store actually just thought of doing something similar! a lot of us love reading and it’s also an excuse to meet up and talk shit when we can’t do it at work lmao

When our new SM found out that the previous one was constantly misgendering one of our NBI partners, she immediately bought them pronoun pins and made a point to let them know that she would have their back. It was a super sweet gesture.
