Does anyone here feel like the quality of the double smoked bacon and egg declined recently? More specifically the bacon feels like it’s of a lower quality since I used to work at Starbucks back in 2018. maybe it’s just me

I have not noticed but I noticed the Bacon Gouda sandwiches are smaller and the sausage egg and cheddar seem to get darker then in the past when you cook them.

I had one my last shift and i thought so too! The bacon definitely tastes different

I’ve noticed this, too! It felt like that with a bunch of food items. The double smoked bacon looks flatter, the bacon Gouda has almost no bacon, the reduced fat turkey bacon has such crumbly cheese making a mess everywhere, and the sausage egg and cheddar looks like a McMuffin

Yeah, instead of being thick, wavy pieces of bacon with that white fat that crisps up, it's like that thin, shelf-stable microwave bacon.
