I have crazy dry hands and eczema. This job is killer on it. I found some creams though that really help. Eucerin makes a repair lotion and an eczema cream. I use the lotion throughout the day and put the cream on at night with cotton gloves. If it gets really bad I put bag balm on my hands at night and sleep with cotton gloves. Hope this helps ❤️

The sanitizer from the sink dries out hands too! I’ve used aveeno, Vaseline, and the working hand cream from o’keeffes. Put some lotion in gloves and then wear the gloves for like your 30 min lunch or when you’re off work, wear them for however long. It’s like a hand mask. That really helped my hands!

Does your location not provide gloves for dish? I'd do that then maybe gloves when you're on reg, so you hopefully will be washing your hands less frequently. I also always carry a small thing of lotion in my purse for when my hands inevitably get dry

I get your pain as my hands are always dry no matter what. But for me aquaphor helps along with this lotion that I bought at Lush called Dream Cream (it can be a little pricy depending on the size container you buy). I already have sensitive skin so this lotion helps my skin a lot especially with work drying out my hands more than it has in the past.

I feel your pain (literally). The biggest thing I can recommend (which you’re probably already doing but I’m gonna say it anyways) is to keep your hands moisturized when you aren’t working. Heck if it’s that bad put a timer on your phone when you’re off the clock to make sure you always have some kind of moisturizer on your hands. I definitely recommend wearing gloves, better to snap on a new pair every 10 minutes than worsen your condition. ALWAYS moisturize right after washing your hands. Try O’Keeffes working hands, for me aquaphor works better but everyone’s skin is different and my mom has had great success with that. I know it’s difficult but maybe try to use less hand sanitizer and wash your hands instead. The alcohol in hand sanitizers are awful for dry hands and are probably doing more harm than good. Definitely use aquaphor right before bed. I’m probably rambling at this point but if you take anything from this, definitely try the O’Keeffes!
