On the bright side it was only the powder. I dropped a FULL container of mocha I just finished making. It kept getting under crevices. It took me 4 hours to clean it up omg 😭

Dropped a pitcher of mocha and the pitcher feel straight down landed upright. Mocha was on the celling, on dry stock, on top of our hats, in our hair., on top of the ice machine. We were finding mocha for months

One time, while I was MINDING MY OWN DAMN BUSINESS, an unopened backup of LCS we had on a high shelf behind the bar FELL, hit the edge of the FUCKING COUNTER, and exploded all over the floor. I mopped it literally 12 times and it was still sticky by the time I left my shift. I hadn’t even touched it :(

Sweet cream and all the syrups are the WORST when they fall. I had the same thing happen to me with sweet cream. Bruh; I swear I wanted to quit that day lol

we have a bissell crosswave at my location specifically for stuff like this.

basically a cross between a carpet cleaner and a wet vac but for hard floors, and it's cordless.

it's its own little ordeal to clean, but it's worth it.

When I first started at starbucks (2015), one of the seasoned baristas told me to rip the bag of mocha my first time making it, and it got all over me! And this was back when the bags used to say “tear here” instead of “cut here”, so it was believable.

If it makes you feel better, one time I was prepping mocha and another partner was looking for something in a cabinet beneath me.... I accidentally spilled half the bag of mocha powder.... all. over. her. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I felt soooooo bad!

Working at Costco, I did pretty much the same thing except with a container of baby formula. It was on a cart that I was trying to move out of my way, it fell on the floor and blew up across my foot in a similar fashion.
