the barista on DTR/DTO handed a drink out wrong, and when the lady came through she was extremely rude about it. i understand it’s frustrating that your order got messed up, but it happens and we’ll fix it no problem. i was on DT bar, when the DTR barista walks over and goes “how did you make that mocha? (the messed up drink)”

it wasn’t super modified, just a no whip, nonfat, extra shot mocha. easy and simple. i confirm i made it as the sticker said, and she immediately crosses her arms and says “nope. you messed it up and your literally lying to me. it didn’t smell like nonfat milk.” like...what? why tf are you smelling drinks that customers drank out of anyway. why are you willingly taking in cups that customers DRANK FROM knowing that a) we aren’t aloud, and b) we are in a PANDEMIC. and even if i had used the wrong milk and didn’t realize, i fixed it and got the lady on her way.

but anyway every drink after that she would ask, in a really berating voice, “did you put x syrup in that? i’m just trying to make sure you’re doing your job right”

i countered it with, “did you hand out that last order right? just making sure you’re doing YOUR job right.” and proceeded to tell her to hop off my back, because i know what i’m doing and unfortunately i am human and make mistakes
