The caveat we have at corporate stores is that we can only grind Starbucks brand beans because of “cross contamination”, the rationalization being that our coffee should have a certain flavor profile and we can’t maintain that if we’re grinding other brands beans.

If they ask you to yes, if they don’t I’d say offer it because I’ve had a few customers bring back beans because they didn’t realize they needed the beans ground. (Although some people have grinder or don’t just don’t need the beans ground so I’d ask instead of just assuming they need it)

Target may have different rules. As a licensed store they have some discretion on some policies. You have to check with your manager there.
For corporate stores the normal policy is that it must be starbucks branded beans in their original sealed packaging. During the pandemic some locations are only grinding beans as they are being purchased in store.

Wait are they beans they bought in the Target or beans they bought from Starbucks? If they’re Starbucks beans, then yes you can if they ask. If they aren’t, then no you cannot.
