You have to accept your stock grant every year by logging into fidelity and following the prompts. The stock grant has a 2 year vesting period. So if you got 8 shares in 2017, 4 are available in 2018 and the rest in 2019. You can log into fidelity to check what you have.

If it's still confusing you can always call fidelity for help, I think they can even do it for you over the phone.

I’m not 100% sure but i think you can cash out after a year or two but you only get half now and then half 6 months or a year later 😅

Your post reminded me that I have a question about this!! Do I have to do anything to buy stocks or is the process automatic? I'm all set up with my other benefits as I've been at Starbucks for five months, got my insurance and 401K all sorted out. Just haven't figured out how to get going with stocks.
