no the system won’t be able to tell but it also isn’t your responsibility/it will never cause you direct harm. the only person who could get in trouble is that partner if they’re even abusing the markout in the first place.

edit: also.. i am guilty of leaving my cups in my car overnight and my boyfriend gets starbucks a lot so i wouldn’t overthink it..

Wow, what a pressing problem

My car is a mess as well lol so if they come everyday it might be the cup from the day before lol. A barista mark out a second food item one day instead of using my discount so I called my manager crying think it would mark the system thinking I was gonna get fired lol. Starbucks is a large company and don’t care enough to alert for a 5 dollar employee drink lol.
