Customers are the most important thing at starbucks, and they will train you on everything. You might be asked how you would “make the moment right” for an unhappy customer, which usually is give them a refund, offer them something else, give them a recovery card, etc. Since you’ve worked fast food, you most likely know how customer service works. If you have an interview at a drive thru store, and your past job(s) had a drive thru, that’s a big plus. You might also be asked some personal questions about any hobbies and stuff as well. I think the biggest pointers for an interview are; look nice, be friendly, understand customer service, and ask questions. At the end ask any questions you may have, such as what training will look like, the store culture, and about any benefits and pay. Hope this helps! :)

be a friendly person (my managers have said that that’s one of the biggest things they look for) and stress how important it is to connect with the customers!

Have an excited and bubbly attitude but don’t overdo it. Managers often look for partners who will have good energy to work with. Some other people already said it, but try to mention how connecting to customers is important to you, and try to think of examples of how you did this in your previous jobs. For example: in my interview I mentioned how when I worked at Jimmy John’s we had an elderly couple who would come in at 12:00 sharp everyday and we started to make their orders and clean their favorite table at 11:55 to ensure they had a positive experience.
