Hi all How do get fraps out of the blender when they won’t pour easily? My manager seems to think if you make them right they should just pour out. I didn’t have the strength to explain to her that milk , soy , almond milk produced different textures So we should have a spoon by the blender. But I was told no. I’m just smh

Honestly tap and swirl helps (like you do to groom steamed milk) As does shaking it slowly back and forth. It’s not the greatest but if it’s really bad, add a tiny bit more of x milk and reblend

For non-dairy milks, pour slightly more milk. (Like to half way between 1st and 2nd lines). Pretty much comes out smooth all the time. If you're having this issue with regular milk, make sure you're not overfilling the ice scoop.
The issue with spoons in the blenders is that the only spoons we're supposed to be using are bar spoons, and we're only supposed to use them on hot drinks.

Sometimes if it doesn't pour out of the blender I'll add 1 more pump of base and reblend. If it's too thick to pour out it's probably going to separate fast and not taste as good/smooth. If they ask for it extra thick or no base or extra ice etc.. ill use a spoon :)

idk i used to work at a baskin robbins before sbux, so i was used to pouring super thick milkshakes and never had a problem with fraps. tapping and swirling helps like someone else mentioned, but all i do is just shove the spout (ig that’s what to call it??) of the blender into the cup and shake the blender side to side pretty aggressively while pouring, lmao.

I tend the use a clean spoon or maybe even hitting the sides works for especially when they get cold brew blended

Thanks that’s good advice

Before I take off the lid I give the blender a good ol tap (or slam) on the counter, shake it a bit and then shake it on outta there. The milk alternatives are tricky, but adding a bit more milk or a bit less ice helps smooth it out.

we literally just slam the pitcher into the cup until we finally get the frapp to budge

Double blend, add a base pump, and make sure the ice is level/slightly under the scoop rim. If you hold the scoop to your face you shouldn't see any whole cubes poking up.
