I’ve been trying to put my finger on this phenomenon. I can eat our food for breakfast and lunch everyday for weeks. Sure, lunch will come around and I’ll think, “I don’t want anything here”. But inevitably I order a panini and get on with my life. But if I’ve been gone for longer than a couple days, I can not stand our food. I will spend 12 of my 30 min driving to the closest fast food place, shove that in my face on the drive back, and probably still clock in late before I eat another goddamn Turkey Pesto. Why is that?
