i’m interviewing for a shift position on monday morning. currently i work at a licensed store where i’ve been for about a year and a half now. while i’m technically just a barista, i do several shift responsibilities anyway. i’ve done pulls, made plays, and i am the trainer for our store. i’m super nervous for this interview, so how can i make myself sound great and make sure it goes as good as possible?

I was hired as a barista. My first day, my manager asked if I wanted to a shift. My response is, why do t we find out if I can make a coffee before she ask me if I want to be a shift.
A week later she asked me again. The training would be another week as a barista and then 2 weeks as a shift.
We made a deal. I was a barista for 2 months before I became a shift.
I am older with management experience. I would not do it any other way.
I think my partners appreciated this also.
