Is anyone else sick of customers placing a really complex mobile order like 1 minute before picking them up and getting mad that they aren’t ready this lady literally stopped her car in the drive thru line and placed it 10 seconds before pulling forward and saying she had a mobile order like really ? 🤦‍♀️

I HATE when people do this. We have repeat offenders, too. We always tell them to give us at least 5-10 minutes so we have time to actually make it and yet they continue to do it. I guess they don’t grasp the fact that it takes time to make their drinks or they think they’re the only orders we have 🙄

if anyone comes through with a mobile order they ~just~ placed, we kindly ask them:
“next time please wait a few minutes to come by after submitting your mobile order to make sure we can have it ready at the window for you when you arrive” :/

I had multiple people do this to me this Saturday & I was so beyond infuriated! I would ask them how long ago did they place their order and they would be like “Ohh like literally a minute ago” and it’s like great now you’re here and there are at least 20 other mobile order drinks in front of you and you’re in my line about to fuck up my OTW time. 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

We always tell them that they have to wait 10 minutes for their orders because "our computers have a delay", so we have them pull around to the parking lot. I'm not messing up our times for them.

Absolutely hate this, also having them place the order and then right away just drive straight thru to the window without giving notice that they’re here to pick it up just for them to sit and wait for their order to be made 🤦🏻‍♀️

The only thing worse is when they park in curbside pickup, place it, and then immediately put that they are here in the middle of peak. Then proceed to come in if they have to wait more than five minutes in the car.

I’ve also had people at drive through order who quickly say they’re here for an order literally don’t even give me a name and when I tell them to wait they’ve already pulled forward. My coworker says if they do that she tells them they’re going to either have to come inside or wait in line again because they were rude and weren’t patient. I love her.

I am guilty of this. However, my order is usually a grande americano......no extras. None of this crazy shit I see posted on here.

A grande americano still takes time and if it’s during peak even if it’s a simple order we may have twenty complicated orders in front of it. The app will actually tell you a (semi) accurate wait time when you place your order so please be mindful of that when coming to pick it up

Americanos require shots, which take time to pull. Time most of the time that we don’t have as baristas with the limited amount of machines, staffing, or hands available. Not to mention the person above me is correct. We receive and make orders in the order we receive them. Your “simple” drink might have just gotten stuck behind John’s 16 shot Iced americano, with half and half, 12 pumps CD, and vanilla sweet cream cold foam with CD blended in.
