Yes this has happened to me!!! We’ve been having more trouble lately though with our dome lids not fitting. So when we go to put the lid on, the drink can spill from the amount of force it takes. No matter how careful we are it keeps happening lately!

Oh my god. That still happens?? I haven’t worked at a Starbucks since 2009 and yet I still remember that being a chronic issue even way back then. You’d think a drink company would have fixed those lids by now lmao

I’m new and it took me a solid 3 minutes to put a lid on a frap earlier and the customer was staring at me the whole time and even started chucking under his breath 😔

Oh dang, same here! My hands hurts so bad try to put them lids on. I think this week lids batch are bad. Had to make 5 fraps and wanna cry after putting the lids on. Did you have trouble with slippy venti hot too?

Here’s a trick I learned! Put the lid on before the whipped cream when you know the kids are fucky. Then put the whipped cream and the toppings through the hole. No it’s not gonna look perfect but it’ll save you time and less mess to clean up

those dome lids are so infuriating. love when i’m pushing down on one of them super hard to get it to fit on top of a frappucino and then the cup gives out from underneath and the frappucino ends up on the counter 😀makes life worth living!

Oh my god, sometimes the batches of dome lids we get are faulty just like that. It’s not just one, it’s always the whole sleeve! Do the bottom of y’all’s panini bags fall out too? We’ve been having issues with our warming bags lately

I had that happen at a Bennigans 🤣 it fell into my milkshake and I took it out and started licking it thinking it was a toy at the bottom of the drink! Hoping my parents tipped the waitress well because the manager made her comp the entire 30 person check for our party.

Nope, don’t be lazy. Take both ends off and throw all 3 pieces in the water in your 3 comp. sink.
Maybe it’s not a matter of being lazy, but this is why those bottles do that. You’re messing up the plastic and warping it every time you Hobart it .

Oof! That’s happened to me before too. Except it got alllllll over the counter. I still watch the bottle every time I squeeze it as a result to make sure the bottom isn’t loose. Hope the mess wasn’t too bad!!
