does anyone know if we’re classified as full time or part time? i’m a barista (self.starbucksbaristas)

i asked my SM and he said we were all part time? i’m working 35-40+ hours a week and trying to buy a house and my lender is concerned that i’m technically part time

Starbucks only recognises ASMs and above as full time.
As a SSV or a barista, you are considered part time because hours are not guaranteed and schedules are not consistent. Managers "schedule based on store needs" which means they can change it constantly.

Yeah, it sucks, but you'd have to work 2 years to allow the income to be used for mortgage qualification. Only ASM and SM are full time.
