Don’t do it lol... jk😂. Since you’ve been a barista for a while, you’ve seen how different shifts run the shift. Think about what they do and what works so well for you and your team. They will ask the standard, why do you think you’re ready or some variation. They wanted to hear me talk about planning my shift, really creating that third place, and how you’ll really help lead the store. Like team player kind of stuff. What would be really helpful, is if your SM has one of those Starbucks pdp spiral work books. That basically show how you move from one position to the next. I’m using that book to become an asm. My sm said try to use some vocab from the part of the position you’re trying to become.
