I don’t understand why everyone in this group is always complaining about customers ordering customized drinks (self.starbucksbaristas)

Have you seen some of the customized drinks before? It’s to a point where it feels like it’s more of a meme or a joke and when you’re busy and get one of those drinks, it throws off you’re whole routine and can put you behind, adding to the stress of trying to stay on top of orders.

There are some people I genuinely believe order drinks because they like them a certain way, others just do it’s because it’s popular, and there are some who are so particular about their drink it’s a wonder how they ever thought of it in the first place. Those types of people are usually pretty snobby too, so yeah, we complain.

Never said they weren’t allowed I said I don’t understand it

Because complaining gets the frustration out. Would you rather them complain on here or to customers? There gets to be a point where the customizations are far too much. You cannot tell me you have never once complained about your job. Everyone has complaints about their jobs. It happens in any and every work environment.

Ok, but this sub has thousands of people. If every one of those people only complained once about their job, it would still overwhelm the sub. So yeah, it seems non-stop to you but it's not the same barista complaining 50 times a day about their job. It's a bunch of different people venting after a bad day.
