i can never do a flat white properly. I pull the shots, steam the whole milk, get rid of the bubbles, start pouring close, get further away, then come back again. YET I CANNOT GET THE DOT!!!!! pls help :,(

The secret is to put slightly less milk when you pour the milk into the pitcher to steam it. The mistake I made for the longest time was I was putting the milk to the T/G/V line. Ever since I started putting slightly less milk, I get the dot pretty much every time. Experiment with how much less milk and then you'll realize the perfect amount.

Pouring speed affects it too! Slower is foamier and faster is less :)
