Hello! I’ve applied and was asked to interview. I do have barista experience but it was 5 years ago. My question is two fold:
Any tips on the interview?
If I get hired: what are some good things to know before I start?

The number one thing I was asked was about how I dealt with customers. The interviewer asked me about how I’d make it right for customers and what I’d do in different scenarios, so definitely have your answers ready for that kind of stuff. Also emphasize the fact that you’re outgoing and eager to learn, that’s always good.
The first few weeks are going to be rough. My best advice is to toughen through like a soldier and then things are a breeze once you get the hang of it all. There’s no rushing through that beginning phase

Be positive and friendly. Your interview is a test of how you'll interact with customers and baristas. Starbucks is looking for people with customer service skills and who are team players.
