Short Rant (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by raindragon16
I was on Food, and my manager keeps asking for Js' order, which was in the line, I told her. Every minute she asked about the order, and I gave her an estimate as to which the food was coming out. There was tons of food before his, so I decided to check how long J was waiting myself, and it was 6 minutes.

Waiting 6 minutes during a rush was not long, I felt pressured for no reason by my manager to be faster, when, it was physically impossible. I just feel so frustrated at my job right now and want to quit, but there's a pandemic going on. Rant over.

Your manager's stupid. Sucks but happens all the time.

I just don't understand this pressure to be fast like McDs, while we have to maintain customer engagement scores. You can't have fast and customizable, those two don't work well, especially when a company refuses to pay for the labor needed for delivery, curbside and in house coffee. I swear I'm going to tell every customer it will be at lest 10 minutes, to give them a reality check.

Yeah that’s dumb, you can only go so fast being that the food is cooked to certain times and what not. Not only that but you only have two hands!
