hi! ive been working at a starbucks in singapore for about 1 mth and 3 weeks? and i feel like im terrible at this job.
to start off, im not used to the stress on bar so it makes me kind of slow and messy, however i feel like i cant get better as im always being placed at POS. it really stinks because i feel like i always annoy other partners with how slow i am but i cant help it and im really trying my best, and whenever someone points it out i just want to crawl in a hole and die :/
second, my work environment is starting to get kind of toxic because i feel like the other partners (who are aged 20+ while im 16) tend to stay in their own “clique” and there have been many instances where i hear them talking smack about other partners who are slower than them which sparks my anxiety because i know that they probably talk about me behind my back as well....
im trying my best to pick up my speed and make friends with the other partners but all my effort seems to go to waste because nothing ever seems to be working. it makes me feel so shitty every time i work and i feel like i should just quit. any advice?

My SM told me to expect it to take 2-3 months to learn everything, and coworkers have said actually you'll still be learning stuff and asking questions long after that. Dont feel bad, it's normal to take time to learn a new job. It will get better.
I'm sorry partners aren't being nice :( I guarantee they were still learning when they'd been there less than two months too.
