All I want is for the dome lids to fit!! Why does it have to be a fight every time with the dome lids!!??? I’m going insane and I know the day I quit it will be over trying to get a dome lid on.....ugh!!!

That started happening all the sudden, I’m pretty sure the company switched to a cheaper manufacturer because I’ve had blank cups, miss printed cups, too many cups in a sleeve, unsealed sleeves.....gah!

They also leave partially cut slivers of plastic sticking off of the dome lids that either break off and fall somewhere or stab you

Sometimes they work so well and other times they don’t, I wish Starbucks would get their shit together and actually cut all the lids the same way, it really sucks not knowing if one sleeve is going to be better than another sleeve 🙄🙄

I’ve started to put lids on before whip. If comes with topping, I squeezed the toppings through the hole 🥲 almost flipped my nails after trying to close 5 fraps before

I did this once but apparently "iTs NoT sTaNdArD" so i kinda avoid doing it unless i need to. I usually just try and make sure the frap is beneath the lip of the cup. And that my whip doesnt squirt air instead of cream hahaha

Yeah it’s def not standard for sure 😅 my frap tends to stay beneath the lip too, but sth abt the WC mess me up. I guess it depends on your store too.

I was on bar and literally had to take a break from it because I got so frustrated with the dome lids.. every drink I made would end up going all over the place while I was trying to get the lid on

Life pro tip (if you didn’t already know): grab a second cup and double cup the drink, then fight with the lid. It gives it more stability so you don’t squash it trying to shove the damn lid on.

Oh I know but lately it’s been two,three cups and no stability! Nothing like having our cold bar right by the drive thru window and you use that method thinking this will work and you turn into the Hulk and get a Frappuccino bath🤣😂😅

I still think quality control is "working from home." Dome lids too small, strawless lids too big and sometimes with the sip part not punched out (or I'm the wrong spot), cups that are literally split down the side (and not bc of a a box cutter), moldy boxes of refreshers, brown discoloured fruit inclusions, unwrapped pastries in unopened boxes, the list goes on. The amount of product we've gotten lately that's barely usable or straight up has to get tossed is absurd.

I usually have this problem with the grande cups and dome lids, what I do is I have one grande cup near the station at all times so I double cup the drink and the dome lid fits seamlessly, then I keep the other cup for other drinks so I dont go around wasting cups
