Customers keep asking when Starbucks will reopen the lobbies and tbfh I'm dreading the day that Starbucks announces the lobby reopening. Because that means I'll have to clean up more messes as a CS barista and be forced to "cOnnEcT wITH tHE cuSTOmER" and "gEt tO knOW THeM".
I'm just going to say, we ain't a restaurant. I really don't care to go up to people who are clearly focused on something else to ask them how their day is going or if their packaged food and practiced drink was delicious and to their satisfaction to segue into an uncomfortable conversation with someone I don't even know.
Maybe I should just switch to a drive thru only store lmao.

Also this is a page for venting, let’s be honest. I don’t usually rub it in people’s faces they “kNEW wHaT tHeY sIgNeD uP fOr” because we all need some time to vent sometimes. It’s a stressful time.

You just back to the company after taking 6ish years off. A lot has changed, standards, the entire view and focus of the Starbucks company.
