tell me WHY a man came in at 6am, no mask so we offer him one, seems all is well.
this man waits to put on the mask and says “i really want to catch covid! i hope i get covid.”
not only is he being an absolute insensitive person, he doesn’t even properly put the mask on.
got his drink and shooed him out as fast as i could but HOW ARE YOU GOING TO ACT LIKE THIS WHEN WEVE BEEN IN THE PANDEMIC FOR DAMN NEAR A FULL 365 DAYS

I don’t understand people. I live in a super liberal town so everyone’s basically complied, but when I go out of town there are so many anti maskers like ffs. I wear one all day at work and hardly notice it. People love to play victim in a pandemic

I live in a deep-ass red state and we have people that fight us every damn day about wearing a mask. It’s exhausting. Luckily, most everyone complies or just goes through drive, but still. Like two weeks in, I can understand. But we’re nearly a whole ass year into this thing and we still have people who act surprised when we tell them indoor seating is off limits and they have to wear a mask.

I also live in a southern red state and it's wonderful how our SM won't let us tell people to put on masks bc she doesn't want to "bother" the customers 🙃

Oh hell no. I live in a red state, too, but my SM has told people we will not serve them if they’re not wearing a mask.

i’m from the most conservative part of CA, moved to a more liberal city but there’s still soooo many people who just don’t bother to wear a mask properly

Customers are people, and people only think about themselves. They don’t think about what it would cost you to get sick, or to infect everybody at the store around you. It probably hasn’t even occurred to them that entire Starbucks stores have been closed because everybody got ill.

Honestly every time I see someone wear their mask wrong or not at all I just roll my eyes at the lack of self discipline. I had a lady come in to pick up a mobile order without a mask and when I offered her one she just rolled her eyes and put on a fucking fishnet one. With. Fucking. Holes. 🤦🏻♀️
