The only thing new to learn going cafe to DT is how to run DTR, and how to clear orders as they're handed out on that monitor above the reg!
You can talk to the SM about it, as they make the schedule. Just ask politely not to be put on more than x days in a row. If they're a good manager, they can follow that.

1. No, it’s not a dick move. Waiting til the last minute to ask for it to be fixed, or ignoring it so that you become resentful is, however!
2. It doesn’t look bad. Talking about it is literally the only way they’ll get feedback. Don’t get into the bad habit of thinking that talking about your needs is a bad thing.
3. The DT seems harder than it is. But give it two or three days and you’ll be a pro.
