I’m curious! What area is your store, and what’s the most/least popular thing you guys sell? I’ll start: I’m in Kansas and we go through white mocha like it’s nothing, and we sell a kiwi starfruit maybe once or twice a week lol(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by draahstopter
Edit: I just want corporate to read this thread and see why the kiwi starfruit was a waste of time and money 👀

Western PA- iced caramel macchiatos, strawberry refreshers, white mochas, and caramel fraps are most popular.
Least popular: kiwi lol and plain lattes.

Houston is sleeping on the London fog latte.
occamysRazor6 points2y ago
On the coast of SC! Most popular: obviously the iced white monstrosity, strawberry açai with heavy cream and vanilla (🤢), extra hot chai lattes! Least popular: hazelnut anything, very berry hibiscus, kiwi starfruit!
interyx3 points2y ago
I'm in the Myrtle Beach market. Lately it's been sweet cream cold foam out the ass on literally everything: iced lattes, iced coffees, **frappuccinos** which makes me so mad every time.
And of course pink drinks, dragon drinks, caramel macchiatos...
We threw out all our kiwi starfruit, it just didn't sell at all.
occamysRazor2 points2y ago
Unfortunately we have ONE customer that comes by once a week to get one so my SM won't pull the plug 💀
existentialmacchiato6 points2y ago
illinois! most popular - iced white mochas, strawberry acai, caramel ribbon crunch; honey oat milk latte is weirdly common. least popular - kiwi starfruit, passion tea, pineapple matcha
FairMaidenRiverMouth2 points2y ago
Chicago here, pretty much the same except we also get a lot of A and CM.
TheFriendlyFeminist5 points2y ago
Upstate New York: right now it’s that damn tiktok iced white mocha sweet cream foam extra caramel drizzle drink is the most popular. I feel like the kiwi star fruit is pretty rare and the guava passion fruit drink is uncommon as well
cherycoffee5 points2y ago
north florida here! non-stop iced caramel macchiatoes :) and carmel crunches least popular- kiwi starfruit and pineapple matcha
redloh94 points2y ago
Minneapolis- We do a lot of pink drinks and caramel macchiatos.
We do not do a lot of kiwis. Or passion fruit drinks.
jae4594 points2y ago
Arizona (East valley). Most popular: iced/hot caramel macchiatos, green and black tea, iced chias, all frap, all variations of mango and strawberry refreshers, and anything with white mocha.
Least popular: cappuccinos, anything with regular/nonfat cold foam, the almond milk cold foam cold brews, blended strawberry lemonade, and dark/blonde hot coffees.

Oh fun! I rarely meet people from the area here! I’ve worked as a borrowed partner in the majority of my district and tbh they are all like that. Literally Christmas day I swear we had as much if not more cold bev than espresso bar drinks. Only when I was at one of the stores where most people were older and retired was it slightly different but those are rare gems and have a whole host of other issue lol.

Yesss! Honestly the community keeps it interesting! Annoying as hell at time but worth it. I’m with ya on the cold bar. SO many Frappuccino’s. First year my store was open we were told our summer would be slow. By the end of it my SM declared us to be a “Frappuccino store”
kitsustar171 points2y ago
Also from the same area. Not sure about you but we go through keg after keg of cold brew. And oddly enough we get quite a few almond milk foams (probably just because of the neighborhood my store is in.)
jae4591 points2y ago
Oh my goodness so many kegs! God the amount of cold brew is insane. We have 6 cold brew toddys (technically 7 but we use one for sweet cream) and honestly I think like 9 or 10 kegs. Over the past few weeks (since the start of the new year really) almond foams are more popular but nothing will be near the VSCCF
LordSpock3 points2y ago
Paris - France here, usually refreshers and caramel machiatos, but we're actually closed for months now bc of covid ofc, so maybe it's gonna be different after we reopen.
BatWeary3 points2y ago

kreborn172 points2y ago
Ohio here, accurate
Allison_823 points2y ago
North Georgia! White mocha’s and caramel macchiato‘s are definitely super popular, I can’t remember the last time I sold a pineapple matcha or a “violet drink” This part added after reading other comments: I also forgot about the tea lattes like London Fog, only our supervisor orders those 😂
Donald260693 points2y ago
Low country South Carolina/ Hot White Mochas, Caramel Fraps and Pink Drinks are the most popular. Our least would probably be the kiwi refresher and the Pineapple Matcha is NEVER SOLD (More for me 😁)
bumpinpumpkin4683 points2y ago
Upstate South Carolina - White mocha haunts me in my dreams, while nobody seems to fancy espresso con panas or kiwi starfruits.
toadhugger3 points2y ago
Maryland here. Most popular: Carmel macchiatos, iced white mochas, caramel ribbon crunch. Least popular: kiwi star fruit and pineapple matcha.
fritocaldo2 points2y ago
Newport Beach, CA:
Most popular-for the health conscious 40 somethings: extra hot nonfat no foam lattes. No foam anything really (I don’t know what they all have against foam here) a lot of them love Splenda as well. For their teen daughters: pink drinks with vsccf, honestly vsccf on anything hot or cold. For their sons young and old: mocha cookie crumbles or iced caramel macchiatos ex cr drizzle. For the aspiring health influencers: black iced coffee/cold brew/ or nitro, if they are trying to treat themselves maybe add a splash of some milk alternative. For the guys that are on the way home from the gym: hot black coffee and they will let you know that they “don’t get any of that frilly shit” because “real men drink coffee black”. Listen chad we know you want to order a psl, nobody cares. Real men order whatever they want
Least popular-kiwi refresher, caramel apple spice, pineapple matcha, and the guava passion fruit drink

Arkansas here! The most popular drinks we sell - in my district at least:
• Iced Caramel Macchiato
• The Tiktok, sugar-coma-inducing monster, of 7 year old me's dreams.
• White Mocha with VSCCF (but hot for some reason, a LOT of people get it like that repeatedly)
And the least popular:
• Blended Strawberry Lemonade
• White Mocha Cream Frappuccino (I think the last time we made one of these was for some training six months ago)
• Kiwi
• Iced Matcha Lemonade
• Iced Cappuccinos
And I haven't seen anybody mention food items on this post yet, but I wanted to mention the Hickory smoked Turkey Jerky, I sold one, a year ago. I up-sold it for a bet, but hey I got a free movie ticket.
dwightshru2 points2y ago
Illinois - chicago suburb mall
popular - strawberry acai w lem - mochas - double smoked bacon - white mochas - cold brews
least popular - kiwi - brewed teas - iced teas - guava / peach drinks -
heedthelock2 points2y ago
Western Canada: Plain drips, caramel macchiatos, the mango dragonfruit anythings and chai tea lattes are endless. I've literally never had someone order a matcha lemonade and I had to chuck out a nearly full box of ginger last month cause it finally expired.
Wise-barista11031 points2y ago
St Augustine fl, our most popular drinks would have to be the pink drink and caramel macchiatos. But just like everyone else we literally throw out a full kiwi star fruit every week because one person orders it legit every two weeks 😂😂
soawkwardly_confused1 points2y ago
New jersey we go through chai iced or hot very fast. Golden ginger we don't even have it out anymore if someone orders it than we open a bag and we haven't had it out for like a month.
urlocaltransboy1 points2y ago
I live in a fairly big city in California (not LA or SF...lol). Honestly, every shift there is always one particular thing I have to make a lot of. One day it was caramel fraps, then the next shift it was caramel macchiatos, etc etc.
Acceptable_Emu1 points2y ago
New Jersey here! Lots of caramel macchiatos, iced white mochas, black tea with Splenda, and pink drinks No one really gets kiwi star fruit, matcha lemonades or pineapple matchas, or espresso con pannas (honestly I only think our own partners are the only ones who get con pannas at our store)
cancel941 points2y ago
SF Bay Area here, most popular is either a Pile with too much sugar, white mocha, or anything with cold foam. Least popular is probably the tea infusions, we rarely sell peach green teas and such
smellman41 points2y ago
Central California
Mainly drip coffees, lattes of any kind, chais and mochas as well as iced teas
Least popular are kiwi star fruit refreshers, I’ve only ever seen someone order it once, and also not too many matchas
victoriajeaan1 points2y ago
haven’t seen indianapolis yet! most popular - caramel ribbon crunch -mocha cookie crumble - vanilla bean frappe -white mocha -honey citrus mint tea - iced white mocha VSCCF and extra caramel drizzle least popular -any of the almond milk coldbrews -mocha is not very popular -plain lattes
imathrowayslc1 points2y ago
NJ Mall store
Top: strawberry açaí (we run 3-4 people plays and only are open for 10 hours and can still burn two cases a day sometimes) Carmel macchiatos White mocha So many frapps(it’s always summer in the mall)
Least: I don’t think I have ever opened the kiwi. Other shift keeps writing it on the almost out list..... there are 6 in the cold bar fridge. Should last another year. London Fog :( I think I make all of them for me.
bexbux1 points2y ago
