I just can’t. My licensed store job has a bunch of slobs. I told them today I am not your mother and I don’t want to clean up after you. What do you use to wipe the bar? Manager won’t let me have a towel to wipe and push to side. It’s making me nuts. But she never says to bar people to clean up. Such mayhem.

We use a towel that’s been soaked in sanitizer to wipe off the bars when it slows down enough to do so.

It seems that I am the only one that cleans. We never slow down my store is in a big university. My manager needs a talking to. I am fed up with the lack of sanitation. Never see hand washing either. But she will worry about a small piece of hair that came loose from my visor

Since it is a QASA violation to have towels on the counter, i see why your manager says no to towels being pushed aside. But that being said.... i always have an extra sani towel tray thing (like the one you have the towel in to clean the steam wand) next to the bar so that it can stay next to me so i can constantly wipe up my bar. I CANNOT work on a dirty bar! Makes life 100x harder!

Keep the sanny bucket near by. If the manager has a problem, then throw a towel at their face.. jk. Talk to the shift about the baristas laziness or your boss. I keep a dry rag inside my apron pocket.
