Wearing a mask a size too big isnt a bad thing! Full coverage (think boxer brief underwear instead of bikini cut) is good! Gives a more chance to get a proper seal! You might need to add strings to tie it around the back of your head or use something like a mask brace or rubber bands. And if you decide to double-mask, you want the surgical/N95 under the fabric one, so it helps if the fabric one is a size too big!

I found mask straps that are fairly comfortable at the Target 1-3-5 section. 2 pieces for $1, so you can keep one in your work pouch and one in your car in case you lose your work pouch one!

Having a spare mask with you at all times as backup is important! If your mask gets wet (milk splash or your own runny nose or whatever) you need to change it!

Don't get me started. Frappuccino explosions. Whips! (Once went 2hrs after making whips or cleaning the empties or something and finally discovered on a 10 that my mask was covered in whip and no one had told me!!)

I like these, I wear one over a disposable cause I break out if I wear a reusable straight on my face and it works well (plus I guess people are recommending double masking now anyway)

I was for awhile. I just make sure to have 2 that I switch out halfway through my shift and I wash them everyday. Now I don't break out anymore. But whatever works for you!

Yes!!!

Biggest issue with maskne (besides people's underlying skin conditions) is not washing your fabric face mask frequently enough! It's like underwear, not a jacket- wash it every time!

And for long shifts, changing is even better!

I used to wear one mask all shift at work and then come home and change to a clean mask. (Was wearing a mask at home to protect my family, too.)

Exactly! Sometimes if I'm really moving at work I'll change it every break( thank god for disposable masks) cuz I don't wanna deal with breakouts. Funnily enough though, my dry skin patch on my cheek has gone away cuz it basically gets a steam session everytime I'm working now. XD

I've always had pretty good skin so it's not really fair for me to talk but... I started exfoliating my skin after work every day, sugar scrub or salt scrub, intense.

They are too big for me, but I have one in my purse for emergencies. I use masks I purchased from etsy that fit my face well and keep my glasses fog free.

I have a coffee print one that I love to wear at work cuz it fits really well so I'll probably alternate between this new one and the old one. But maybe see if your store can order a bag of the smaller size? They have the size listed as M/L, so they might have a small sized one!

The masks were way too big for me as well. You can wash them in hot water and dry them on high. They shrink. I love mine now. It's still a bit loose. But it also doesnt fall from my nose.

It’s a orderable item on the weekly order but it’s up to your manager to order them just like extra aprons or hats. My manager got 2 for all of our partners.

Two isn't enough! You need to have at least 1 for every day that you work in a week. Otherwise you're going to be constantly doing laundry or having re wear them!

I have a mini washer in my apt so I wash them every night with my laundry, but yeah each partner needs enough so they aren't worried about if/when they can get them washed. And we need to keep the disposables on hand for when a partner forgets them at home.

Just keeping my aprons clean was tough enough for me before the pandemic. And I have laundry machines at home! (But live with 5 other adults.) My heart goes out to anyone trying to get to laundromats right now.
